Flags at Half Mast

May 12, 2026 – The flags at all St. Clair Township municipal facilities have been lowered to half-mast in mourning and in support of longtime St. Clair Township Councillor Pat Brown and his family following the passing of his wife, Cindy Brown. On behalf of Council and staff, we extend our heartfelt condolences to Councillor Brown and his family during this difficult time.

 

December 31, 2025  – The flag in front of the St. Clair Township Civic Centre, Mooretown Sports Complex and Emergency Services are lowered to half-mast in memory of the late John DeMars. John DeMars was the voice of experience in municipal matters for 36 years, beginning his career in Sombra Township, then serving as Clerk of St. Clair Township. St. Clair Township Council and Staff send condolences to family and friends.

 

September 10, 2024 – The flag in front of the St. Clair Township Civic Centre, Mooretown Sports Complex and Emergency Services are lowered to half-mast in memory of the late Jim DeGurse. DeGurse was elected Councillor with St. Clair Township for 20 years (1998-2006 & 2010-2022). DeGurse passed away on September 9, 2024.
