Holt Line Bridge over Sydenham River Closure Notice

BRIDGE CLOSURE NOTICE
To Landowners In Affected Areas
At the recommendation of the Township’s Bridge Inspection Engineer, the Township will be closing the Holt Line Bridge over Sydenham River until rehabilitation has been completed in 2020. At this time, the bridge is considered past its life expectancy and can no longer remain in service.
Detailed design for this structure is ongoing and tendering is planned for early 2020. Ideally, the rehabilitation will commence in the early summer, however, factors including weather and contractor availability may extend the preferred start date.
The Township of St. Clair sincerely apologizes for this inconvenience. This action is being taken to protect public safety, which will always be the Township’s highest concern.
If you have any questions, comments or concerns, please contact the undersigned. Thank you for your co-operation.
