A rail spur on the Lambton GS property connected to the CSX main line has been reactivated to help improve the removal of scrap metal from the demolition site. The rail spur will remain in-service from April 2021 to December 2022. Several rail cars carrying scrap metal will travel two to three times per week through the northern rural towns of St. Clair Township. Hours of operation will be from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday to Friday, with any weekend activity being unlikely.
