Reminder for Real Estate Signs

This is a reminder for all Real Estate and Open House signs posted around St. Clair Township….

By-law 13 of 2017, states that :

 

-Real Estate Signs cannot be placed any closer than 0.3 meters to any lot line                            

-Cannot create an obstruction to vehicular or pedestrian traffic

-Cannot be placed on municipal property or within a visibility triangle

-Signs on municipal property must be given consent by Township Council

-Signs cannot be attached to trees, utility poles or located over a public utility

Please be courteous to your neighbours and promptly remove open house signs when finished.

Failure to follow by-law regulations will result in sign removal and potential fines.
