Please note the following changes to our hours of operation and service schedules on Monday Aug. 3, 2026 (Civic Holiday):
Administration
All offices at the Civic Centre are closed Monday, Aug. 3 and will return to regular business hours on Tuesday, Aug. 4.
Community Services
The Moore Sports Complex and Moore Museum will be closed Monday, Aug. 3, and will reopen Tuesday, Aug. 4. The Sombra Museum (closed Mondays and Tuesdays) will resume regular hours Wednesday, Aug. 5.
The St. Clair Parkway Golf Course and Parkway Bar & Grill are open regular hours on the Civic Holiday Monday.
Road Closures
Gala Days Parade: St. Clair Parkway will be closed between William Street and First Street on Aug. 1, from 11 a.m. to approximately 12
noon.
Captain Kidd Days:Â Parade route (Corunna) – Beckwith Street (96 m east of Lyndoch Street) to Lyndoch Street, to Fane Street, to Colborne Street.
Time: approximately 10:45 a.m. to 12 noon.
Fireworks
To ensure the community remains safe and respectful, the St. Clair Fire Department reminds residents to follow the Township’s Fireworks By-Law:
- Allowed dates: Fireworks can only be set off on Victoria Day, Canada Day, and the Civic Holiday, as well as 3 days before and 4 days after these specific holidays.
- Allowed Hours: 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM only.
- Public Space Ban: Fireworks are strictly prohibited on Township or public property without prior written consent from the Township or property owner.
- Remember to follow all necessary safety precautions when handling fireworks to ensure a happy and safe celebration.
